APAC region for enterprise video

V-cube, Inc. today announced it entering a strategic partnership with Qumu (NASDAQ: QUMU), the leader in enterprise video, to provide enterprise video content management solutions across Japan and the Asia Pacific region. V-cube has been the market leader in Japan for web conference systems for the past nine years.

As part of this partnership, V-cube, Inc., headquartered in Tokyo, will participate in the management of Qumu Japan Co., Ltd., the local subsidiary of Qumu Corporation, and sell the industry-leading Qumu enterprise video platform across Japan and the Asia Pacific region.

“Qumu is a global player which has developed video solutions that satisfy the high-level needs of security and internal content management and delivery that enterprises require; its solutions help businesses gain competitiveness by sharing information via video,” said Naoaki Mashita, Founder and CEO of V-cube, Inc. “Going forward, we believe the needs of enterprises will drive the merging of two business areas: interactive visual communication, the strength of V-cube; and video content management for enterprise, the strength of Qumu.”
