V-cube, Inc. (headquarter: Meguro-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Naoaki Mashita) updated its Web Seminar Service "V-CUBE Seminar" on Tuesday, 26 August 2014. The "V-CUBE Seminar", used in in-house trainings, has now been used for the seminars for in-house products and delivering educational contents to members. In the latest service, the editing functions have been improved, which now enable not only live broadcast to be delivered but also on-demand contents to be effectively utilized, in keeping with the requests from seminar hosts and seminar audiences. A variety of functions including an acknowledgement function for viewing environment and a playback speed selection function for on-demand recorded contents will be provided for various seminar audiences including busy business people.

[Major updates]
■A function for checking viewing environments by a seminar audience is added
With a steep increase in web seminar audiences via mobile devices including tablets and smart phones, a menu which enables a mobile seminar audience to check on viewing environments is added. Thus, each mobile seminar audience can view a seminar in the optimum environment.

■Playback speed control function for on-demand recorded contents is upgraded
A 3-level speed control function, consisting of 1.5x, 2x and regular speed are now available for on-demand recorded contents in web seminars. Seminar audiences including busy business people can appreciate efficient learning and information collection in a short space of time.

■Function for editing on-demand contents is enhanced
An editing function has been enhanced, which allows a web seminar host to edit its on-demand recorded contents of a live seminar more easily. The editing functions include changing playback priority, "Cancel" and "Replay" as well as editing per100 millisecond.
